Why I Don’t Shoot Video — But Always Know the Best Videographers
Sometimes couples ask if I offer video services. The answer is no — and here’s why this is a conscious choice, and how I help you find the perfect videographers for your wedding day.
My Focus Is Photography
I’ve chosen to dedicate myself to documentary wedding photography. It allows me to be fully present in every scene, notice emotions, work with composition and light, without splitting my attention between photo and video.
My goal is to capture real, honest moments — not to reproduce them on tape.
Why I Don’t Combine Photography and Videography
Weddings move fast. To truly capture the atmosphere, both the photographer and videographer need to be completely focused on their craft. Technically, it’s possible to do both, but it means neither the photos nor the video will reach their full potential.
And I believe in doing one thing excellently, or not doing it at all.
How I Help You Find Great Videographers
Over the years, I’ve built a personal list of videographers I trust — professionals who complement photography rather than get in its way. I know their styles, their vibe, and how they work. I can recommend the right one for you:
By mood
By personality
By budget
On request, I’ll gladly send you my list of trusted videographers.
Why It’s Convenient for Couples
You save time searching, and immediately get the contacts of reliable people who won’t disrupt the photo process and will create a natural, emotional film without staged takes. They know how to work in my style — catching real moments as they happen.
Final Thought
I believe in honesty at work: it’s better to focus on what you truly excel at and share the contacts of people you trust. This way, you get not just a collection of photos and videos, but a consistent, heartfelt story of your wedding day.
